Busy listening is when you are telling someone a story and they are to busy to listening but they say they are but there not.

Treaty of Waitangi

Description: In Poutama we were given a task to do make a poster, movie or 3D models like what me and Aria. Here is a photos of our 3D model.

Big Idea: I have leant lots of facts like the Europeans and the Maori sign the treaty to declare peace between them, the Europeans wanted to own New Zealand because the wanted to own more land, The first Europeans to sight New Zealand was Abel Jasnzoon Tasman on 13 December 1642.

Feedback/Feedforward: I like the scene that has all the sold signs But I think you should make Tabitha's arm pointing at the sea - Sophie I

Evaluation: I think that me and Aria did really well but next time we could make so thing bigger and make Tabitha's arm point in the sea.

I'm in multi so in my learning task includes more than 3 pieces of information.

Treaty Of Waitangi

Description: We have been making questions about Waitangi Day, They had to be open question. They had to be questions that we were not meant to answer.
Here are some of my question.

  • Why did the Europeans need all the land?
  • What is Waitangi?
  • Why did they have a Treaty to buy the land?
  • Where has the Treaty been stored?

  • Where was the treaty signed?
  • How did they find New Zealand?
  • Why did maori take there time to stop the Europeans from buying the land?
  • Why was it name Waitangi?
